They made sure that the abandoned train station had a starring role in a foot chase scene in the first episode in the God-awful and short-lived "Detroit 1-8-7" TV series.

(1-8-7 isn't even a code used by the Detroit homicide squad, but I guess it sounded good).

The guy standing alone in front of the 1-8-7 cast is Michael Imperioli from “The Sopranos.”

According to Wiki, “1-8-7” is the California penal code for homicide, which has become a national slang term for “murder.”

If I recall correctly on that show, they managed to have mostly White perps and cops in a city where there’s only 50,000 of them (out of 700k+). 100% of the people on that show should’ve been Black.
