He’s there because some Swedish woman charged him with rape. As soon as he walks out the door, as a minimum, Brit cops will arrest him and send him to Sweden.
As far as I know, I’m not sure what “espionage”, if any charges he is under.
I believe the rape charge is made up bull, and they want to take him down like Al Capone was (thru tax evasion charges; not murder, racketeering, etc.).

The rape charge involved consent until the condom broke, then she withdrew her consent.
Of course Pompeo has already said he wants his head on a stake. But I doubt if Trump could have won without Wikileaks shining the light on Hillary’s e-mails etc.
