Merry Christmas! My dad asked me what I wanted and I told him I wanted to go see the Apollo launch. My dad packed a bag, I packed a bag the girls didn’t want to go, so we drove to Florida and watched Apollo 8 liftoff, stayed with some friends of his at Patrick Air Force Base and had a great view. Afterwards, we drove back and I saw the Christmas broadcast of Apollo 8. I will never forget what my old man did for me that Christmas, it was spectacular.

We were on our way via these brave Astronauts and then...plop, no budgets, no national drive, no vision...sad.

We are now focused on giving stipends to criminal to behave themselves, reparation programs to ease the white folk guilt, funding illegals who should not be here should we go on?

"It used to be that only the buggy-whip generation didn't believe it at the time"

I believed it when it was supposedly happening but I no longer trust my government enough to give them the benefit of the doubt. Today, I truly believe it was faked. The government body language almost admits this as even today, with technological advances far beyond what was available in the 1960's, we are unable to go to the moon with humans. Alan Bean was one of those who might have had to live with a huge lie his entire life for whatever reason his government dictated to him. He is finally free of this burden.

In the period of 1969-1972 nobody would have believed that America would not have a base on the Moon or Mars by 2018. We were on our way via these brave Astronauts and then...plop, no budgets, no national drive, no vision...sad.

Part of the reason is that the "space race" with the Soviets had been "won," which is what provoked America to compete and set a type of goal line. If the Soviets had not launch Sputnik then the founding and funding of NASA would not have been a priority, and a moon landing would not have taken place by 1970.

If the Soviets had subsequently landing on the moon and set up bases, and furthered their space exploration, then NASA would have received much more funding.

But with Putin wanting to express his macho image the next logical step would be the militarization of space, if Russia can afford it. And developing a nuclear rocket would begin a new era. .

Ah, you must be one of those conspirators getting paid by the government to claim you saw a Saturn V lifting off. Everyone who has been in my basement knows that they were just carboard props in a movie studio. Sarcasm off. I watched the Apollo 11 landing on TV but that’s about it. I was asleep when the actual astronauts did their moon walk. I told my dad to wake me up for it but apparently he was asleep too. Oh well, it’s only the first time in history anyone has walked on the moon. No big deal. Sarcasm really off this time.

“I truly believe it was faked.”

I’m truly sorry to hear that.

I am sorry as well. I would much rather be able to believe it took place than not but almost ALL of the objective evidence points towards a massive con job by our government. Remember, they are our ONE source for all of the images and accounts of these missions. Our press has proven itself over the years to be nothing more than an arm of the deep state. Today’s knowledge of the hazards involved with space travel such as the Van Allen Radiation belt, micro-meteorites, etc. puts a huge question mark on their claims from the late 60’s and early 70’s as it pertains to any manned space travel beyond Earth orbit. I no longer trust them in anything they claim.

Whatever you think is fine. I still think there is a denial by student(s) who can’t wrap their heads around the idea that the greatest feat ever by human beings happened so long before they were born. Not to worry though, because we’re going back soon and some of us will get to see it again. However, this time the audio-video quality will be 1,000 times better.
