When I was in Viet Nam (67-68) a fellow soldier tried to get A GED diploma. He took the course and passed all the tests but to get the diploma from the last high school he attended he had to submit a request.
Some anti-military bitch/bastard corrected his spelling, grammar, whatever in his request and sent it back denying the diploma.
