President Trump struck a positive tone Friday tweeting about “productive talks” going on between the U.S. and North Korea on possibly resurrecting a summit next month, a day after he nixed the highly anticipated meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
And if the original June 12 date, which is fast approaching, doesn't work out, the president said there could be a plan for a later time.
“We are having very productive talks with North Korea about reinstating the Summit, which, if it does happen, will likely remain in Singapore on the same date, June 12th., and if necessary, will be extended beyond that date,” Trump tweeted Friday.

Trump likes trolling Democrats, doesn’t he?
It is not just North Korea, but China and Russia plus South Korea’s socialist appeaser President blurring lines and making things difficult. A whole maze of agendas (and none of them pro-American) going on. I don’t trust the current South Korean govt whatsoever.
What’s not to like, the Democrats are bamboozled and Kim’s humping Trumps leg with a new found understanding that Trump won’t tolerate BS/threats.
Looks like we’re playing games now too.
Keep this thing cancelled until North Korea announces it is ready to immediately, completely and verifiably dismantle its nuclear program. Only after such an announcement should we schedule a meeting to discuss what assistance we will provide them in exchange.
