which is why i steer clear of any of these vehicles when I see them. Thay are a hazard many times in traffic etc. they don’t think and operate like normal humans as this incident shows they are slow to respond and an operator would have to take an extra step of disengaging the computer driver to be able even try to respond appropriately and in time.
when all traffic is over the speed limit they are not. many other examples too - computer driver cannot ever replace a good attentive human driver of which there are millions more, than bad drivers.
driverless cars are a hazard on the road plain and simple.
