I expect major fireworks coming from both sides in the run up. Every election these days is sort of “for all the marbles”, but 2018 may determine the fate of the Trump Presidency, and the Trump Presidency is an existential threat to the Democrats, just as a premature end to it would be an existential threat to the GOP.
It’s likely that the campaign will be about the competing narratives on the 2016 election: Russiagate versus Spygate, with successively more dramatic revelations leading up to election day. Strap in!

Democrats and their shills in the press have been expressing hatred for Trump - AND hatred for us (his base) for years.
What 'hatred' haven't they already expressed? How much worse can they get after calling Trump "Hitler" and calling us 'deplorable'... I've stopped being offended by terms like racist, sexist, xenophobic... like water off a duck's back...
