...has declined to prosecute a now-retired FBI special agent (SA) who mishandled classified information...

Without reading the rest of this, can we assume the person getting a "pass" is a democrat and supports the deep state?

You’re of course familiar with the theory going around several months now that US Atty. Huber, working with OIG, will be conducting the prosecutions. If not, why was he appointed?

Besides being a useless AG, he obviously has absolutely no shame. He must know how he’s being scewered day in and day out. As someone said “he wanted the job, not the work.”
I just don’t understand how so many here on FR defend him.

sessions letter says huber was to review things and he will work from outside of the dc area and in cooperation with the inspector general.

will be interesting to find out if there are any grand juries being held, but from the letters it appears to me they are waiting for the IG recommendations

some times the wheels of justice turn slowly, but justice delayed is also justice denied..doj stalling on providing documents does nothing to restore faith in equal justice and appears to be covering up and hiding things from the public and congress.

“Laws are meant to prosecute little people, peons, and those from flyover country. “

Try unwittingly picking up an eagle feather.

The Leona Helmsley proclamation. Let’s hope the end result is the same.

Well then, someone better apologize to the Navy submariner who was prosecuted for taking a picture aboard his boat and expunge his record.

I don’t get why anyone would defend him. I had refused to criticize Sessions until the night he had a very public dinner with Rosenstein. That was such a finger in the face to not only the president but to all of us who believe in the rule of law.

Sessions has disgraced himself and his office possibly more than Lynch and Holder. We knew what they were all about and we knew they were thugs so we never trusted them to do what was right. But Sessions was always thought of as an honorable man and now we find that he is a devious and as big a scoundrel as Holder and Lynch.

Thanks for the links.

Somehow in all the chaos I completely missed that Huber was overseeing a team of several prosecutors. Seems like Mueller’s SIXTEEN federal prosecutors have them outgunned.

Except that Mueller’s people can’t seem to accomplish anything apart from getting themselves and the swamp creatures they’re charged with protecting (the true purpose of their enterprise) into really deep feces.

OIG report any day now .....

re> exposing any nexus to Obama

Can you imagine if his true citizenship was revealed? Not sure it would be a good thing. There are so many fish to fry lately.

President Trump should have a meeting of all U.S. Attorneys and their boss, AG Sessions, and tell them that his policy is that all criminal referrals from the DOJ IG shall be taken to a grand jury and prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law.

Any U.S. Attorney that disagrees shall submit their resignation.

Any U.S. Attorney who fails to follow this policy shall be fired and investigated for obstruction of justice.

Okay. I didn’t really see Comey as abusing classified information to the extent Her Heinous did, but I’m not totally in tune with all he did either.

‘Declining to prosecute’ internal wrongdoers is completely normal in the DOJ.

The DOJ OIG website lists investigative summaries. Anyone who doubts criminality within the DOJ gets a pass should browse through those investigative reports. It’s shocking!

I sure hope this is not a prelude to the DOJ IG report and that it will not be a pure Sargent Schultz......”I see nothing.” report.

I want the DOJ IG to kick butt, name names and demand prosecutions.

Wow!

Agent conspired with Islamic terrorists to attack a free speech event and took off when the shooting started.

The The FBI gave no warning to local LEOs. The feds wanted a mass casualty event
