You have to understand that this case is so secret that even Mueller and his team are not allowed to know what they’re doing.

LOL. And they were obligated to give the media a story that "showed they were making progress." 17 new indictments sounded good.

“Not only is the 2TB in Russian, Mueller’s prosecutor admitted in court that none of it had been translated.”

Well, in one sweeping action mule and the gang have defamed 12 foreign entities and one ham sandwich by levying indictments without apparent cause. Unless, there is more evidence which they have on declared. The guy(s) is an embarrassment and needs to be disbarred.

Far too many of the scumbags are complicit for that to ever occur!

AFAIK kabar is correct, the court has the doc, but if it is redacted the judge could say “Not so fast” (in Latin “non ieiunant”)

Partner, Mueller wants to stay on the job as Special Prosecutor since he makes $1200.00 an hour and has 15 assistant Lawyers making a bunch of money also.

I did the math and it is obscene what Mueller is making a year on his salary. I would stay on the job forever.

There is so much corruption in D.C. right now that we do not know where to start firing folks and sending them home. Of course, we have sorry Pubbie leadership in both houses.

We need to stop this insanity.

I was in D.C. two months ago and stood outside the DOJ.

Thought to myself, it's a building with a couple bad apples.

It seemed remarkable and inconceivable to me that a literal handful of humans could destroy America and that they would be allowed to do it with little resistance.

I realized the the problem is not insurmountable.

Note that the author of the article changed the title and posted a correction:

Correction: This piece originally reported that the special counsel requested an indefinite delay. It was been updated to reflect the request was a joint-filing with the defendant, and was for a 90-day delay. Since original publication, the court has granted the request.

Why did the defense join Mueller in requesting a delay?

Was it “Great Expectations”, that addressed how the English court system would drag cases on for years, in order to bankrupt our wait out the end of the lives of those concerned?

Is that called "Law Studies" or something?

It's shocking how easy it is for a citizen with cursory knowledge of the law to "out-lawyer" a lawyer these days! I've done it! Any lawyer worth his/her salt knows every case is situational. Predicating a criminal act upon who wins an election is plain dumb!

You are correct. With the Internet, it's pretty much ended any mystification about the law and arguing legal cases. As we see in the news, and limited on money, but willing and you have the drive to do the research, you can take on these atrocious legal cases that we see the DOJ take to court as the target of their prosecution.

It's better than selling your house and being bankrupted paying lawyers. If you're going to plead guilty to crimes that you are innocent of because you lack funds and coercion, you might as well fight it anyways in court as your own lawyer.

Here's what you can find these days at your finger tips.

- Legalese. (It takes two seconds to find 60 seconds to get the gist)
- Statutes
- Court doctrines
- Holdings, stare decisis, court reasoning
- Local court rules
- Court procedures
- Case law, legal opinions...

The kooky liberal and political lawyers are agenda driven lawyers who do put forth and "argue" bad cases, and who attempt to bankrupt the defense. They are the worst. They heavily rely on activist liberal judges. I spent some time taking them on the Internet a few years ago. They're not all that good.

Good question. I assume it allows more time for discovery and holds out the hope that the case won’t be prosecuted depending upon what happens the rest of the investigation.

Lawyers on both sides make more money when they log more hours, day, months. If Mueller wins this case he is in a stronger position to keep billing the USA forever. I think that’s one reason the billing info is redacted.

Partner, thanks for your in sight into the Justice Dept.

These problems that have been created by the Justice Department are not insurmountable! You hit a homerun on that and three (3) folks are going to be fired and they are Rod Rosenstein (The Weasel), Mueller, and Jeff Sessions.

Jeff Sessions is a total joke as head of the Justice Department and this could have all been cleaned up a long time ago if we just had the right person in charge at the Justice Department.

The Giant Sixth Grade Brain Journalists can not seem to grasp this and they are in big trouble for their lack of investigative reporting since we Freepers have done a lot of the work for these so called Journalists.
