WASHINGTON: A US government employee in China suffered brain trauma linked to "abnormal sounds" that resembled the still-unexplained injuries that befell US and Canadian diplomats in Cuba last year, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday (May 23).
US and Chinese authorities are investigating after the unnamed employee, who was assigned to the southern city of Guangzhou, was diagnosed with mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI).

I wonder if the Chinese were the ones using the US embassy employees in Cuba as lab rats for a sonic anti-personnel weapon. If this is found to be the case, we’d be amply justified in levying an immediate 25% tariff on Chinese goods, to be ratcheted up until it hits 200%. The tariff would be phased in to give manufacturers the opportunity to relocate their plants outside of China.
I agree with you.
A whole huge parcel of American manufacturers, have bought lock, stock and barrel into the “friendly Chinese” narrative.

The two are not comparable. What Noreiga heard was just loud music endlessly. It did not cause any brain trauma, just sleep deprivation.
