Spygate: More Vindication for Breitbart, Mark Levin, Donald Trump
breitbart ^ | JOEL B. POLLAK

Posted on 05/23/2018 1:34:12 PM PDT by davikkm

“Spygate” — the revelation that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) used at least one informant to infiltrate Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign — provides further vindication of the contention made in March 2017 by conservative radio host Mark Levin, Breitbart News, and President Trump (in that order) that the Obama administration conducted surveillance of the opposition in an attempt to monitor, defeat, and delegitimize it. As Breitbart News recalled earlier this year:

On March 2, 2017, Levin noted mainstream media reports that suggested that law enforcement and intelligence agencies had conducted surveillance of Trump associates during the last months of the Obama administration. He also noted President Barack Obama had taken the unusual step of allowing surveillance reports to be disseminated more widely within the government, which made it more likely that details would be leaked to sympathetic media.

Levin criticized what he called “police state” tactics by the Obama administration, and speculated that the agencies might have been involved in a “silent coup” to undermine the incoming Trump administration, which was loathed by official Washington.

On March 3, Breitbart News reported Levin’s broadcast and added additional evidence to the timeline, summarizing Levin’s accusations: “In summary: the Obama administration sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign; continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found; then relaxed the NSA rules to allow evidence to be shared widely within the government, virtually ensuring that the information, including the conversations of private citizens, would be leaked to the media.”

Isn't Levin the stooge who just recently said "President Trump has been more conservative than either of his two GOP predecessors, Bush 41 and 43."?

He just recently figured out Trump is more conservative than two open border globalist? This is profound!

Levin don't miss nuffin. He's on the case!

I’m getting really tired of mark levin. All he does is yell. After being a nevertrump he has tried to redeem himself but I can’t stand the way he puts himself into everything like it matters that he accepts this or that. It isn’t about mark levin just like it isn’t about Michael savage.

Can you imagine if George W. sent an FBI agent into Obama’s campaign?

It would be the biggest political scandal in the history of the world.

But since Obama is a Democrat, the media is just

Ho-Hum. Nothing to see here.

How will Republicans explain this to their grandchildren?

We'll just say that you were a dirty cop that corrupted a federal institution. No problem.

Hey, give him a break.

I’m happy to have him on-board . . . no matter how long it took him to get there.
I was happy, today, as well, to hear Rush refer to the President as “Donaldus Magnus” (parroting his “regal” term for President Reagan). I think, not-so-deep-down, he’s always considered Trump as a “vulgarian,” and not the “deep, intellectual” conservative he would have wanted (like Cruz or Rubio, both of whom he praised effusively during the primaries). But... again, happy to have him on board!

“the Obama administration conducted surveillance of the opposition in an attempt to monitor, defeat, and delegitimize it.”
‘ Comey’s Final Hour Reopening of the Hillary Investigation Was Designed To Legitimize Her Impending Presidential Win ‘(h/t iotwreport)
Doesn’t it stand that they had the ‘insurance policy’* that would DE-legitimize the Trump Administration? They ‘dirted-up* the campaign staff with ‘Russian’ influence.

If the appropriate offenders are not in jail by 2020, Trump needs to use this method against the democrat camp in that race.

Don’t bring a knife to a gunfight.

Congress passed a law last year making it “more illegal” to do that in future races. They already thought of that.

Hell, no. Rubio is self-serving, lisping, back-stabbing little puke.

I think Rush called him a “perfect conservative,” though - that’s why I wrote that. :-)

Four things to understand about SPYGATE: 1) There was no spy in the Trump campaign. 2) The spying that did NOT happen was totally justified. 3) It would be bad for national security to identify the spy who doesn’t exist. 4) His name is Stefan. #SPYGATE
