TITLE: Trump Son-In-Law Kushner To Regain Top Clearance Following Mueller Interview
White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, is regaining a top security clearance following a marathon interview last month with special counsel investigators, a person familiar with the matter said.
Kushner met with Justice Department investigators for seven or eight hours in his second interview in the Russia investigation, the person said. The session covered “all the appropriate topics,” including the campaign, the presidential transition and post-inauguration events such as the firing of FBI Director James Comey.
Kushner’s business and financial dealings did not come up either in his April interview with the special counsel’s office nor an earlier one last November that mostly focused on former national security adviser Mike Flynn, the person said.
Separately, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani told NPR on Wednesday that he and Trump were not worried about Kushner’s meeting with the special counsel’s office.
“They can spend all the time they want with Jared. He’s got no knowledge of Russian collusion of any kind,” Giuliani said.
One observer said the White House’s decision to restore Kushner’s high-level security clearance suggested he may be escaping the cloud from the Russia imbroglio.
“Certainly if I were Jared Kushner, I would be breathing a sigh of relief and sleeping easier tonight,” said national security attorney Mark Zaid.
“The favorable adjudication is not dispositive that he’s out of the crosshairs,” Zaid said. “But it’s certainly reasonable to believe if there were a significant criminal problem, the special counsel’s office would have given the intelligence community a heads up to withhold the favorable adjudication.”

President Trump could grant a top secret clearance to my dog Athena if he wanted to, and no one in the government could stop him. He’s the final arbitrator on those things. People here would ask me how Mr. Obama got a clearance with all the things we know about him. Answer: He doesn’t need one. Being sworn-in as president is your clearance.

He may be ok on the clearance question but big Daddy needs to keep him out of the Middle East
And never mind that Jared has been an embarrassment to our President on numerous occasions, not the least of which was his failure to obtain a timely security clearance. But I agree with you that President Trump is the greatest president we have had since Ronald Reagan. I'm sure his family was a great help to Donald Trump the candidate but I don't think that has always been the case in the White House.
I will continue to express my opinion in an honest manner without making disparaging remarks directed toward other board members.
Then why do you think Trump keeps Jared on?
In your mind you have convinced yourself that Jared is a bad guy to have close to the president. Shouldn’t you accept that the president is a pretty savvy guy and knows how to handle staff?
The president respected him enough to send him to Israel to the new embassy opening in Jerusalem.
This is the guy you think is too big of an embarrassment to serve the president? Trump sure doesn’t see it that way.
Trump used Jared and Ivanka to put the U. S.’ best foot forward diplomatically, under the circumstances.

Why? He seems to have brokered an anti-terrorism with the House of Said (read keeping Iran in check) deal and who know what else. He may have even helped the new Crown Prince of Saudis (Bin whatever) rise to power and affect reforms.
