Corporate reports constantly talk about the importance to business of climate change. Yet this is not always reflected in the content of the business school courses supposedly preparing the future leaders of organizations.
One institution that is trying to bridge the gap is CEMS, the global alliance of academic and corporate bodies dedicated to educating and preparing future generations of international business leaders. In fact, it has been doing it since 2009, when the University of St Gallen and ESADE in Barcelona first held a model United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to enable students to get to grips with the realities of the issue.
The tenth such event took place last week in Barcelona, a week after the official UN conference in Bonn. This time, nine leading European business schools were involved with 150 young would-be business leaders representing 33 different nationalities.
The event was the culmination of a semester-long course taught in parallel at all participating universities. The idea is that students are given a deeper understanding of the background and consequences of climate change for business, and of corporate responses to it. Special emphasis is laid on international and national regulatory frameworks, as well as the challenges surrounding resources and market opportunities.
One of those involved in last week's exercise was Bartlomej Boski, a student at Warsaw School of Economics. He said: "We all learn a lot throughout our education about climate change in general, however what is hard to capture is the essence of how significantly climate change impacts business and institutions.

Another chapter for my book on how MBA’s are destroying the world.
Next, witchcraft and sorcery and next year alchemy.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Fix'd.
It's caused by THE SUN, it's unstoppable by man, and any attempt to do so is part of a globalist plot to impose communism on the United States and the West.
I demand common sense laws to manage solar activity!
So they finally see it as a money making scam? Thus it will continue.
Once you read the word “global”, look out. You’re chances of being shovel-fed a pile of lies in one bite increase by about 100,000%.
Huh ...
I know what "ESAD" means ...
I learned about “climate change” in the 8th grade. Climate change happens. It has ALWAYS happened since the beginning of time and it will always continue to happen no matter how much money the commie ‘RAT politicians steal from the American taxpayers.
Future Leaders Gain Lose a Chance of a Better Reasoned Understanding of Climate Change
Shareholders will fire these “future leaders” if they try to peddle this “climate change” garbage and hurt corporate profits.
The state will tell shareholders what they get. And the shareholders will be grateful.
Or else.
Very true!
Some of the inside is showing itself right now in Hawaii.
I havent yet found a good graphic of both outer and inner heat sources of Earth, the massive Suns radiation and the molten core under a our thin crust.
