FBI Agents Want Congress To Issue Them Subpoenas So They Can Reveal The Bureau’s Dirt
Daily Caller ^ | 5/22.2018 | Kerry Picket

Posted on 05/22/2018 9:57:38 PM PDT by ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas

TheDC independently confirmed the veracity of the consultant’s position and access, and reviewed detailed transcripts of his Q&A with the special agent, who requested the arrangement due to internal dragnets and fear of vicious retribution.

These agents prefer to be subpoenaed to becoming an official government whistleblower, since they fear political and professional backlash, the former Trump administration official explained to TheDC.

The subpoena is preferred, he said, “because when you are subpoenaed, Congress then pays…for your legal counsel and the subpoena protects [the agent] from any organizational retaliation…. they are on their own as whistleblowers, they get no legal protection and there will be organizational retaliation against them.”

DiGenova — who along with his wife, Victoria Toensing, has represented government whistleblowers in the past — agreed, telling TheDC, “It’s an intelligent approach to the situation given the vindictive nature of the bureau under Comey and McCabe. I have no idea how to read Chris Wray, who is not a leader and who has disappeared from the public eye during this entire crisis. You know, he may be cleaning house but if he’s doing so, he’s doing it very quietly.”

“I guess a patriot who stands up and speaks the truth without being paid or protected is just old fashion and outdated.“

It is when a corrupt FBI and DOJ can lawfare you into bankruptcy, force you to sell your home to pay legal fees, threaten your kids with the same treatment, leak slanted stories to the press, etc.

Let’s ask Mike Flynn how he feels about it. What do you say?

Is there a list of names of FBI Agents laying around somewhere who would be tickled pink to say their say if only con-gre$$ would issue them a subpoena? Or, is con-gre$$ just supposed to interview each and every agent to get their take? Here’s a clue for you agents, you have something to say, say it. Have you observed criminality in your fellows? Do your FKing job and cuff ‘em.

McCabe was notorious or destroying agents who attempted to be whistleblowers. The entire attempt to destroy Flynn and his family was brought about in part due to Flynn attesting to protect a female FBI agent who filed a sexual harrasement case (ref).

There is a deep cancer of corruption in the FBI. A culture of corruption which will destroy entire families to protect itself. So, yes, going up against such an agency like this requires extraordinary protection.

It is a different world in 2018.
My father bought his farm on a handshake and showed up at the attorney office to sign the docs. (many years ago)
Today to buy the same farm it is an 87 page contract with so many contingencies and addenda you can’t begin to understand it!

Let’s get the whole truth out there and protect those that are willing to share the truth.

The corruption of our press has protected this. The only outlets for truth are FOX, talk radio and internet.

These agents aren’t our Founding Fathers. The analogy is weak.

On a related theme, this interview that Tucker Carlson had last night with John Kiriakou, a former CIA officer should act as a reality check of what it means when the power of the state is used to go after an individual…..truly frightening.

Go to approximately the 34 minute mark of last night’s program to watch the interview…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5E6Fw0Mkyuo

Your points are valid and I appreciate the discussion. Would add to it:

1) The preferred speaks loudly to me, but I could be wrong

2) There is always an agenda in a written article

They could do something like that, except, what if some of what they have to say is classified at some level. They sure don’t want to jump right into a felony. Perhaps they can redact, and/or summarize what they have to say without crossing those lines. Publish themselves, or, via sources like Wikileaks or Glenn Greenwald or Sarah Carter.

But would leaking innuendo to the media help them be heard, or would it take the steam out of their mission?

I think they have the right idea - they are saying the only way they can be protected from vindictive bosses and criminal prosecutors is if they are subpoenaed by Congress. And they made the point that going this route helps them financially - Congress pays their legal and travel costs. Otherwise, they’ll need some other kind of immunity from the AGs office. But in that case the DOJ or IG could do the interviews and then just bury the files. Congressional testimony is likely to be made public.

If the current appeal doesn’t work, they could hold a joint press conference where they say they have made it known to Mueller and to the IG that they have pertinent information but so far nobody has even asked them about it, and they believe this makes the investigations look farcical. If the American people want the whole truth then these facts need to be made public. Something like that.

Exactly. The Forefathers were either promised a rope or a country, if they succeeded. Our whistleblowers, if they did come forward, would only be promised the rope. You can’t really expect somebody to self-destruct, especially when nothing might come of it.

These agents want the badge and gun and status and power. They take a sacred Oath to uphold the Constitution. These are not mall cops! I have no respect for them.

Get off of your moral high horse. First, how dare you say that these agents wanted a badge and gun for status and power. What do you know about their motivations or backgrounds? They are putting their lives on the line every day.

They are not shirking their duties and according to the story, are willing to testify if they can be provided some protections offered by a subpoena. What is wrong with that?

What have you done for God and country?

If they are not sufficiently honorable to come forward and TESTIFY on their own about these crimes...they are guilty of crimes themselves.

Which just feeds the nearly universal contention the entire organization is corrupt, and there are no “good guys”.

They are all criminals.

Each and every one.
