When Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Donald Trump’s presidential campaign began more than a year ago, pundits on the left gleefully predicted that it would lead to the downfall of the president.
In an ironic twist, it looks more and more likely that it is the Obama-era Department of Justice that has some serious explaining to do, while President Trump may be vindicated.
Last week, several major sources broke a story that could be the Watergate of our time — but with Obama, not Trump, playing the part of Nixon.
Both The New York Times and The Washington Post revealed that the Obama administration placed an FBI “spy” within the early campaign of Trump, with the likely goal of using government resources to undermine a political enemy.
As we reported Sunday, sources have also identified that spy as a seasoned CIA operative with past experience disrupting elections.
Now, Trump has ordered the Department of Justice to start answering questions about this scandal.
“I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes – and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!” Trump posted Sunday.

Russiagate is a huge infraction by the Obama administration, ignored by the MSM to protect a Dem president.
