Revelations that an FBI informant insinuated himself into the Trump campaign have led some congressional investigators to rethink their theories on how and why former President Barack Obama's Justice Department began investigating the 2016 Trump presidential effort.
Most reporting has focused on the July 31, 2016, creation of a document formally marking the beginning of the FBI counterintelligence probe targeting the Trump campaign. The document, known as the electronic communication, or EC, is said to have focused on the case of George Papadopoulos, the peripheral Trump adviser who has pleaded guilty to lying to special counsel Robert Mueller about his contacts with people connected to Russia.

The operation against Trump probably started the day he announced.
Making it into the Trump-Russia thing came later.

I have read that probably Brennan activated Stefan Halper on March 14,2016. We shall find out when Brennan is indicted and at trial.

The real question being did they spy on the Democratic campaign?
If Russian meddling was a real danger to our democracy, why wouldn’t they protect Hillary as well?
That they never did do it speaks to the partisan motives of the Obama Choom Gang.
They know full well why they took the risk of illegally spying on Trump.
And it wasn’t to keep him safe from alleged Russian blackmail.

Just last week they were claiming it’s only been 12 months of investigating. It’s at least one year longer than that and we knew this last week.
I also think the Russians worked for Bernie to keep the butcher of Benghazi out of the White House. WHO took Libya's gold?
I wonder if a similar operation was launched against Bernie Sanders once he became a threat to Hillary, and we just haven’t heard about it yet.
This proves that their story is not holding up.
From the moment he announced, Donald Trump was the outlier.
The Deep State had the goods on every other candidate; indeed, the wheels were greased to produce Bush-Clinton Part 2. But after DJT started upsetting their apple cart, the government apparatchiks had to scramble to come up with some dirt. But evidently Donald dirt is hard to come by so they had to try to manufacture something.
Unfortunately (for them), it’s hard to produce dirt without getting it all over yourself.
