But some Freepers insist Sessions is playing 256-D chess and is a true southern gentleman and deserves respect for his legacy.

And some Freepers insist Sessions is Granny Clampett, Keebler Elf, Rip Van Sessions, Deep State Mole, etc., etc., etc....

And some Freepers admit that they don't know what is really transpiring and are willing to keep an open mind and wait and see what actually happens over time ...

21 May: Washington Examiner: Byron York: When did Trump-Russia probe begin? Investigators focus on mystery months
And that has taken them back to March 21, 2016, when candidate Donald Trump met with the editorial board of the Washington Post...

Trump was preparing to announce his advisory board when he met with the Post. The paper’s publisher asked Trump if he would reveal the names of his new team.
“Well, I hadn’t thought of doing it, but if you want I can give you some of the names,” Trump said. He then read a brief list, among them Page and Papadopoulos.
Trump’s announcement did not go unnoticed at the FBI and Justice Department...

It is in those mystery months — late March, April, May, June, and early July of 2016 — with the presidential campaign going at full force, that the Obama administration’s surveillance of the Republican candidate geared up.

WaPo’s publisher is Fred Ryan. according to his Wikipedia page (which you should read) “A program obtained from the elite Alfalfa Club Dinner in January 2014 indicated that Ryan is the Secretary of that secretive organization”.

Sessions is still there because replacing him is not worth the confirmation fight with the pathetic Senate GOP before the midterms. This is a political battle. So what matters most is 2018 and 2020. There will be no criminal charges since Democrats don’t go to jail for assaulting Republicans.

Some even bring common sense and objectivity to a BS-slinging party...thanks for that!

Yeah well, the President is boss, and if he doesn’t know this, and I’m not sure he does, we are screwed.

The solution is simple:

Appoint Rudy Giuliani as special counsel. He isn’t afraid of anything.

It’s quite clear what is happening, actually. The GOP is not fully supporting a POTUS of their own party in an effort to stop the MAGA agenda. The beltway GOP leadership has aided and abetted the Mueller Coup at every turn. That the minority party is effectively running the Senate Intel committee can not be an accident. It’s a fix.

That’s what Jason Chaffetz was saying on Hannity last night - no power to investigate former employees. Chaffetz was on with the gal who wrote the WSJ piece last week and highly praising her for her work.

Along with Hannity saying this is the biggest scandal ever in this country, Newt was on after that saying the same thing. Chaffetz said that Sessions is absolutely useless. I was surprised he was that point blank about it. It seems everyone knows this except Sessions. The president needs to get after Sessions. What is he waiting for? Someone needs to get off the pot!!!

I can see this whole mess taking up an inordinate amount of the president’s time and that is insane. He has work to do for this country and he has to take time to deal with a whole bunch of losers and criminals? Nearly a year and a half? It’s not right!

IG’s are there to do investigations and audits, and then turn their findings over. Its how it works out. Usually their corrective measures mean loss of funding if they are not resolved, so agencies usually try to meet them.

“”i’d feel better if we had a good 2nd special counsel appointed””

Exactly what Chaffetz said on Hannity last night but it was hard to tell with Hannity’s interruptions. Now I know why I gave up watching him for 6 months. He is infuriating. I know he has to get to breaks but if others can manage it from their hours, why can’t he - without cutting the guests off.

Really??? You're willing to put trust into the Republican's perpetual "kicking the can down the road" method? Remember how Republicans in power would always poo poo the idea of repealing Obamacare? First it was we need to get the house and senate before we can do this. Then we need the White House before we can do this. Now it is we need to win 2018 before this. Still willing to WAIT?

A kindergardener’s pop tart shaped gun is more intimidating than anything Sessions has or ever will do regarding this.

They also are legally obligated to inform law enforcement officials if they uncover criminal activity.

No. I put my trust in President Trump.

The reputation and credibility of the DOJ and the FBI have been shredded due to this ever deepening scandal. Most Americans perceive these law enforcement agencies as having been politicized and weaponized — to undermine, if not remove, a duly elected president. Without question, this is the WORST political scandal in our history.

While the plot and surveillance occurred during the Obama administration, the cover ups and outright stonewalling continue right up to the present time.

Why would the nation’s chief enforcement officer (or anyone for that matter) stand by idly while the integrity of their agencies was being destroyed? There is a crisis of confidence that will take decades to repair yet Sessions is doing nothing to restore the public’s faith in the agencies he heads. At best, this is inexcusable. At worst, its something far worse.

Sessions assisigned a DOJ lawyer to the IQ, I thought, that could indict people who broke the law????? Trump seems ok with this going to the IG so far, so I think we are missing something. Either that or we are about to have another tweet storm.

But the IG is Huber’s basis for prosecution. Hard for him to prosecute at this point what the IG can’t investigate.

But Huber can follow the lead and subpoena????
