Yes, there are qualifiers based on marital status and issues when one of the parents is not a US citizen, but me and the person I was addressing were specifically discussing McCain whose parents were married and were both US citizens at the time of his birth.
If everyone was so sure of McCain’s eligibility why did the Senate feel a need to pass a resolution saying McCain was eligible ?
A resolution that specifically stated that TWO citizen parents are what made McCain a natural born citizen.
A resolution that Obama voted for.
Obama knows he is ineligible.
