The Department of Justice will allow Congress to review highly classified requested documents relating to the FBI’s investigation into the Trump 2016 campaign in conjunction with the White House and other agencies, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday.

“Based on the meeting with the President, the Department of Justice has asked the Inspector General to expand its current investigation to include any irregularities with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s or the Department of Justice’s tactics concerning the Trump Campaign,” Sanders said.

“It was also agreed that White House Chief of Staff Kelly will immediately set up a meeting with the FBI, DOJ, and DNI together with Congressional Leaders to review highly classified and other information they have requested,” she continued.

“President Donald Trump met with Director of National Intelligence Dan Coates, FBI Director Wray, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein Monday afternoon to discuss congressional requests. Conservative lawmakers have pressed the DOJ for weeks to turn over highly classified documents relating to the FBI’s 2016 investigation, particularly to discern abuse of power or the use of a confidential informant to infiltrate the campaign.”

.
Obama Appointed IG has been Investigating for a year and a half with zero indictments.

IG is toothless, and easily ignored.

After a year of requesting this information ... there is no guarantee that what will be shown to congress hasn’t been fabricated.

Let’s see...dealing with lawyers is strike one and very sleazey lawyers in DOJ strike two. Strike three will be when the documents are heavily redacted or falsified.

The IG report on the Clinton email investigation is going to be released very soon. It is supposedly 400 pages. Go back and read the McCabe report and look at the details provided. There is NO WAY to spin the McCabe report other than to conclude he lied. Even the MSM who defended him did not even try after it was released and that is significant. On top of that, the report even detailed the conclusion that he attempted to cover up his directed leak to the media (for himself) so they even assigned a motive. They further drove a nail in the coffin by detailing how he called two subordinates in NY and DC and chewed them out for the leak to cover his trail. That report was pretty much about 1/50th of what we are about to see for Mid-Year Exam.

That short little report ONLY covered the leak to the media at the behest of McCabe and his subsequent statements during the internal and OIG investigation. It was concise and to the point and it left NO wiggle room. I fully expect the quality of this pending report to be just as convincing regarding the not only the conduct of the investigators, but the alleged interference by political appointees at DOJ. The “spin” on the Clinton email investigation is about to end. The fact that the short report on McCabe and the leak was confident enough to draw conclusions and assign motive means if the subordinates told the truth we will likely know the inside story on why they did not charge her and who above Comey was involved in that decision.

While it has NOTHING to do with the subsequent FISA abuse scandal or the new revelations regarding spying on the Trump campaign it will change the narrative because every person involved in this other scandalous crap will read it knowing what they did to spy on the Trump campaign, unmask U.S. citizens for political purposes, and leak that information to the media. This report will feature many of the same people involved with the FISA abuse/spying.

Flip the script and break out the popcorn!

Yep. Another good reason to just go and take the docs.

>>The Department of Justice will allow Congress to review highly classified requested document<<

Is anyone else appalled by the significance of this statement? Who in the hell do voters elect to govern this country, the Congress or a cadre of appointed hirelings at the DOJ? The apparatchiks at Justice should be dismissed and charged with a felony for their refusal to immediately comply with the directives of our ELECTED representatives.

And it will continue to be firmly in control until that snake from Alabama is arrested for treason and replaced with a true patriot.

I’m not as smart as most Freepers here and I hope you all can help me with something: The FBI/Justice have been stonewalling Congress by denying them access to documents that Congress is legally allowed to see. Could the President not start FIRING the people at the top and use the stonewalling of Congress as a legit excuse?

He can fire them, but replace them with whom? Can you see a uniparty-controlled Senate confirming a pick that won’t toe their line?
