MS-13 is just the most extreme example of a general tendency towards thuggish behavior among impoverished Third World peoples, particularly those from urban areas where gang culture is prevalent. You get the worst of both worlds: primitive tribal thinking combined with a concentrated population to recruit from or prey upon.
FYI all: In Politically Correct speak, violent feral youth, especially of the Amish variety, are said to be “vibrant”. The noun form describing them is VIBRANTS. MS-13 “people” are Vibrants!
I usually see the violent feral youth referred to as "teens."
