Parkland survivors express unity with Santa Fe kids while slamming politicians

Survivors of the February Parkland, Fla., high school shooting raged at the NRA and Republican Party for opposing tougher gun controls following the latest mass shooting Friday — while politicians predictably offered “thoughts and prayers.”

“Donald Trump does not care about school shootings,” tweeted Cameron Kasky, a co-founder of the advocacy group Never Again MSD and a survivor of the Valentine’s Day slaughter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. “Donald Trump does nothing to stop school shootings. Don’t talk to me about the ‘stop school violence act,’ because that does nothing to stop school shootings.

“Donald Trump does not care about you or your kids getting shot.”

Student activist David Hogg wrote “we are fighting for you” and offered a warning to the survivors of Friday’s massacre at Santa Fe HS in Texas.

“Get ready for two weeks of media coverage of politicians acting like they give a s–t when in reality they just want to boost their approval ratings before midterms,” he tweeted.

Why don’t they speak out against the shootings in Chicago?

Why do they slur prayers and grieving?

Yeah, its the NRA’s fault. Fools

When kids in today’s society include murder in the number of ways they can deal with everyday issues and troubles, no gun control law is going to solve that.

This is straight gun control agenda pursuit, nothing more. Someone is feeding Hogg his lines.

Shove it up your ass, you worthless snowflake.

You just can’t STAND the fact that your 15 minutes of fame was over 30 minutes ago and need to shoot off your mouth. Ooh! Did I say the word “SHOOT”? My bad. You’re gonna need a cuddle puppy for that one!

An on duty cop shot the kid at the Texas school. If he hadn't been there, no telling how many more would have been killed.

One politician came up "smart"....only two entrances to any school. That's a start. These shooters shouldn't be able to get into these schools.

All these shootings happen in government established gun free zones. I am detecting a pattern here.

The real cause of school shootings is that students of Kasky’s generation have violent tendencies that drive them to shoot up their own schools. Donald Trump comes from an era in which high school students were not the mass murdering pricks they have now become.

First, they couldn’t find their rears with both hands and an LED spotlight.

Second, young people killed young people. Young people of today’s generation lacked a lot (Bible, two parent guidance and love, set of rules to follow) but then are pampered snowflakes who start slashing or shooting or setting off bombs if they don’t have a prefect, easy life at school.

Taking away our President, the NRA and self-defense guns of good citizens will not solve that.

Great post. They see violent videos and movies and feel others’ lives are just rows of dead body statistics on a video score. We saw John Wayne and Eliot Ness but didn’t think of killing our classmates. Different now.

I have read that Hogg wasn’t even there. How is he a “survivor”?

Media labeling, fits their agenda. He was a late-arrival bystander only.

All they do is mouth off and complain. What achievable action do they propose that will stop criminals from killing?

Why aren’t they wagging their fingers at Chicago politicians who don’t confiscate illegal guns?

The answer is to get rid of compulsory school attendance.

Most states also offer free, online, public school.

Give parents vouchers for school tuition. We’re spending trillions on public education. ($620 billion per year at an average cost per student of $12296)

Market competition can provide more effective, quality education in a safer environment.

Compulsory school attendance forces good kids to socialize with sociopaths, criminal thugs, and kids who need more specialized help and care than mainstream schools can provide.

A friend and former co-worker of mine was, at one time, responsible for confidential student records in my local school district. She told me she saw many very horrific cases. For example, one kid—a boy of about 12 I think—had sex with his own mother while his father video recorded this. The parents were drug abusers and also drugged their kid. CPS took the kid away and put him in foster care. Of course he is mainstreamed and must try to fit in at a public school. I also personally know of a case of rape by a classmate where I was present when the report was made to the police. The female victim had to continue attending class with the rapist. And when the police questioned him at school, his rich parents lawyered up and managed to avoid him being charged. He then went around disparaging the victim, calling her a slut who had sex willingly. I heard audio recordings and saw physical evidence that proved otherwise. This is what public school has become.

“Donald Trump does not care about you or your kids getting shot.”
Did their mommies teach them to lie like that? How long were they in the hospital for since they are "survivors"? Oh wait, they weren't.

Saying President Trump doesn't care about school shootings is just nonsense. Cameron Kasky is as bad with his rhetoric as the politicians are with theirs.

Our communities and our churches are places to start....looking for that proverbial needle in the haystack; one of it's many names is Political Correctness...which stops us from doing anything to stop the local nut.

David Hogg, “we are fighting for you”, is just a lie...he is fighting for you to give up your rights.

Take politics and PC out of banning guns, knives, arrows, tire irons etc. and work on recognizing the needy soul who lives near you...instead of hurling insults at POTUS, do something yourselves and lend a hand.

So, when is Camera Hogg coming down to Sweet Home Alabama with his Rent-an-Army to take our guns away?

Like the 7th of NEVER.
