“Assad has no say in the matter.”

I don’t believe that.

I’d have to study al Mudiq. He may be OK.

The returning to Afrin story is pure crap. Total lie. I get feedback on this.

The YPG are killing Jihadi’s in Afrin. They are not blocking civilians from coming back to Afrin.

ISIS, Al Qaeda and other Jihadi’s are continuing to pillage, kidnap, rape, sex slave, and evict and/or murder anyone that want to.

I have pictures of 2 young (12) girls who were kidnapped. One was forced to marry one of the Jihadi’s. The other one disappeared but was found drugged unconscious at the border. They were taking her across the border to Turkey but stopped when found she was unconscious. They would have sold her as sex slave in Turkey. The family managed to get her back. They are never safe there now. It will not get better until the Jihadi’s are dead.

Another young woman in her early 20’s recently disappeared, never seen since.

If Turk air cover is removed, it will be taken back. ISIS, al-Qaeda (Nusra) and several other militias within the FSA are subhuman vermin.

That is the reality of Afrin now.

The reason I say Assad has no say is how dependent he is on Russia and Iran to basically stay alive. Also note how he was snubbed by putin when he went to Russia.

That doesn't mean Assad WON'T (future tense) have a say, but right now he has zero leverage against Iran and Russia.

He did use chemical weapons on the ISIS forces near Damascus.

The Iranians are running the army in Syria. That is why Israel hit them. Only when they shot many rockets at Israel.

Assad agreed to the Efrin invasion to punish the Kurds who refused their offer to give up their weapons and let the Iranians take control of the YPG. Cold day in hell. Headshake.

So here we are.

You're going all over the place:

1. Manbij - I said that Assad had no say in the matter. That statement still holds. He has no "leverage" against Putin and is utterly dependent on him and the Iranis

2. Chemical weapons on IS forces:
a. there's no proof he used chem weapons
b. even if he did use them on islamic state forces, as long as he killed the jihadis, who cares
c. His ability to attack IZ forces near Damascus has no relationship to Manbij - Manbij is far out of his reach. He has no way to influence anything over there.

As to "Assad agreed to... to punish the Kurds..." -- Assad had no say in that -- he can't take on the Turkish forces even with Russian airsupport and Irani troops.

As to the Kurds and the Iranians -- Kurds ARE an Irani people - they feel a kinship with Persians, with Baluchis, Mazdanis etc. all different Irani peoples. This is completely different from their relationship with Arabs or Turks
