A professor who allegedly told an adviser for Donald Trump's presidential campaign that Russia had compromising information on Hillary Clinton has gone off the grid, and even his Ukrainian fiancé hasn't been able to reach him.

But since his name was revealed in the press, Mifsud has gone silent. His bio was removed from a university in Scotland and another institution in Italy where he previously taught. They now show '404 Not Found' error pages.
In WhatsApp messages revealed by Buzzfeed between Mifsud and his fiancé, Anna — who spoke to Buzzfeed on the condition that she be referred to only by her first name — the professor urged her to not speak to journalists.
"Someone from London [sic] journalist asks about you," Anna messaged Mifsud last October 31.
"Do not reply please," Mifsud messaged back.
That was the last time the two have been in touch. Anna has since given birth to a baby girl. She says Mifsud is the father, according to Buzzfeed.
Italian prosecutors are also having a difficult time getting in touch with Mifsud. They have been trying to notify him that he is being summoned to appear at a court hearing in July in response to allegations of financial wrongdoing, but the records at the prosecutor's office in the south of Italy say Mifsud has been "unreachable," per Buzzfeed.

Is it still the case that no one has seen hide nor hair of this guy? Not even the mother of his new-born baby back in Moskva?
Why is the MSM - NYT, WaPo, CNN, NBC, etc. - so bizarrely uncurious about this guy? It's nearly radio silence on their part.
Okay, here's my WAG from the peanut gallery in left field.
Mifsud is a double agent or triple agent or some multiple-iteration agent involving Russia, the UK and the Obama/Hillary regime.
It's Mifsud, not Halper whose life the FBI is fearful of if the CIA/DOJ/FBI plot to unlawfully surveil the Trump campaign and frame President Trump were to become fully public.
Let's logically put the pieces together:
1. Hillary's flying monkeys wrote the substance of the Steele dossier.
The tell-tale mark? The bit in the Steele dossier claiming that the Russians had collected a folder of intelligence on Hillary Clinton since Bill was president, and yet the only 'dirt' they had on her was that she sometimes had a different position in public than in private on certain policy issues.
Think about that. This corrupt and crooked woman has a cloud of scandal surrounding her like Pig Pen and his cloud of dirt.
And the Russians have no intel on any of that? In truth, the Russian intel file room on the Clintons probably has rolling cabinets of shelves and high ladders to even get to all of the huge mountain of material they must have on these two.
Whoever wrote the dossier for Hillary was either so deathly afraid of her or so absurdly obsequious to her that they couldn't even bring themselves to stick in a couple of Hillary scandals to try to make it believable. Perhaps we should check it against Lanny Davis' writing style!
2. It was fed to Christopher Steele through a Russianish source physically located in the UK.
Steele was a former British spy responsible for Russian matters. But he retired and his cover was blown. So he can't go to Russia to collect intel. And we know after Snowden that no one in his position would use the telephone or the internet to do real intel work.
So his Russian source, who told him about all the other anonymous Russian sources, must have physically been there in the UK or at least western Europe to physically hand him the materials.
One possibility: the mysterious Professor Mifsud.
Under this theory, someone acting as a go-between from Hillary's flying monkeys would have given Mifsud the raw material for the dossier, and then he would have passed it on to Steele.
Steele stated in an English court defending himself from defamation that he had no idea if the substance of the document was true and that he never vouched for its credibility. He said it was just something that needed to be checked out.
On the other hand, the story from Comey seems to be that Steele had provided credible information in the FIFA soccer investigation and that Steele was giving them material Steele considered credible. See the little sleight-of-hand, having it both ways?
3. Mifsud's reputation as a Russian source was useful in order to inject into a naive young Trump campaign worker that Russia had Hillary's emails
Since Mifsud was for purposes of Steele considered a source of Russian intel, the Russian-Trump collusion hoax plotters considered him useful as a supposed Russian agent for purposes of dirtying people in the Trump campaign.
That 'dirtying up' was the pretext for using USGOV and probably 'five eyes' intel tools to surveil the Trump campaign.
One problem is that in April 2016 when Mifsud told young Papadop that Russia had Hillary's emails, the only thing everyone knew was that Secretary of State Hillary had her emails on an unsecure bathroom server. So lots of people assumed that foreign intel had penetrated her server and taken her emails. Big whoop in terms of secret info.
After the fact of the supposed Russian hacking of Podesta and DNC(Wasserman-Schultz) came out, someone had the idea to try to get Papadop to admit he knew about the hacking of this beforehand. That would be a much better pretext to support spying on the Trump campaign.
This is where Halper came in, but Papadop wouldn't take the bait. And perhaps Aussie diplomat Downer tried to get this from him too, but the only thing he mentioned was Hillary's emails.
So if this theory is correct, the next question is who was Mifsud's handler who was the go-between with Hillary's flying monkeys and feeding him the dossier?
And should Mifsud be more afraid of an Arkancide or finding Polonium in his pint?

Why in the world would the Elite MSM ever print the truth about its own collusion in the Trump campaign?
I can't say that I totally believe it; however, I would be highly interested if some good detectives and forensic experts look at the info and made some educated comments.
Such expert comments may exist, and if so please feel free to post them, the info could be edifying.
If you talk dirt about Hillary you might just end up underneath it.
IIRC, Rush was talking about this guy this week — Friday, I think. The scenario was so convoluted I couldn’t put it together. Will have to re-listen until it makes sense.
Is he just a actor in a subversive story? Or is he a real person. Is a Russian operative or a DOJ operative?

I expect that every name/situation on “The Clinton Body Count” isn’t due to the Clintons’ nefarious acts. But if only half are true, that goes into the high double digits. They’re murderers.

Nothing naïve about Papadopolous. He worked in the State Dept. when Hillary was in charge, and he bounced from Carson's campaign to Trump's campaign. He's dirty just like the rest of those involved in this scam.
Mifsud is a mystery character of the first order. Every few months I’ve looked to see if he’s popped up, dead or alive. Nothing. Not a word.
So much we don’t know.
