What is the cost of renewables? 7-10 x cost of conventional sources? Plus they are not dependable so you still have to have conventional capacity to back it up?

Wind power costs 8.2 cents per kWh.
Natural gas costs only 6.3 cents per kWh.

REAL suspicious, isn't it - would like to see that dude's investment portfolio. My guess would be that he's all lined up for lucrative contracts after these sort of questionable initiatives get passed by a clueless public.
