Agreed. My only point was the girls action of humiliating him in front of his peers. She signed her own death warrant with him once she did that. She made her power play (humiliating him in his world) and he made his (killing her). In his sick mind, he won.
I’m wondering if she thought publicly rejecting him would give her witnesses if he later started stalking her, or would be more definitive than whatever private advances she had turned down.
She probably noticed he was a bit crazy but never foresaw this of course. Sad.
