Chuck Schumer belongs in prison, too.

He sounds a little worried they’re getting too close to the criminal enterprise known as the DNC.

Wait a minute. Are they now claiming the executive branch secretly inserting spies into the opposition party’s presidential campaign crosses no legal lines? What was all the Watergate hubbub about then?

All Trump has to say is “You know there was something about......I never really trusted him.” Mueller’s investigation would then collapse.

Chuckles the Clown should be raising hell with the NYT and Washington Compost for printing and the DOJ/FBI for leaking the info that outed Stefan Halper!

But that is not his motive. He is attempting to divert the attention from the Seditious Bastards.

Schumer, you idiot, it is the DOJ that is crossing the line
by leaking the details.

Go talk to your boy Jeff.

So, if the Trump Administration identifies the spy, the Dems will charge Trump with obstruction of justice.

The “Source” participated in criminal activity.
He is now fair game.
Fair game for a Grand Jury.
Fair game for an indictment.
Fair game for a prison sentence or hanging.

Fresh off of defending MS-13, Senator Schumer is defending a coup against the President.

You can smell the flop sweat.

Schumer and Warner sound more like co-conspirators than public officials defending the Constitution.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Saturday said Republican lawmakers’ efforts to uncover the identity of an FBI informant in order to obstruct special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation comes close to "crossing a legal line."

Eeeeeeeeeexcellent! As long as it doesn't actually cross the line it's all good. Carry on with the uncovering.

Or should we call in Susan Rice to help pull the mask off the informant?

Exposing sources “makes it that much harder for every part of the intelligence community to gather intelligence on those who wish to do us harm,” Warner wrote.

Hmmm. I wonder which "us" it is that Warner's referring to, eh? Let's play pronoun bingo...

Exposing sources “makes it that much harder for every part of the intelligence community to gather intelligence on those who wish to do Democrats harm,” Warner wrote.

Eh?

"It would be at best irresponsible, and at worst potentially illegal, for members of Congress to use their positions to learn the identity of an FBI source for the purpose of undermining the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in our election."

Actually, Warner is correct... but as an attorney, he should also know that the reason for bringing a certain evidentiary fact is crucial. Since the purpose of looking into the source is NOT "undermining the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in our election, but rather to find out whether the investigation itself was illegal, it magically changes from "irresponsible and potentially illegal" to fully justified and proper.

(eg: it is improper to bring up prior illegal acts as proof that a defendant committed the crime being charged, but it is usually allowed as proof of character, when that aspect of character is raised)

Rule 404: "This evidence may be admissible for another purpose, such as proving motive, opportunity, intent, preparation, plan, knowledge, identity, absence of mistake, or lack of accident."

Crossing the line describes the sitting party using the immense powers of government to undermine the opposing party’s election campaign.

THAT was crossing the line.
