Senate Republicans want President Trump to stop taking jabs at Congress over its inability to get things done.
Trump loves to tout results and bash lawmakers when they do not move fast enough on his priorities.
Trump warned Senate Republicans through Twitter a week ago that they should get the annual spending bills passed before the August recess, a high bar for a chamber that didn’t pass any regular appropriations bills in 2017.
He also slammed the Senate’s pace on approving nominees as “the worst in history.”
A few days before that, he dinged Congress for a lack of progress on immigration reform.
“We are going to demand Congress secure the border in the upcoming CR,” he tweeted, referring to a continuing resolution that would provide government funding. “Congress must act now to change our weak and ineffective immigration laws.”

The House is described at the hot tea cup and the Senate described as the cooling saucer. Trump is an uninvited bull to their collective China shop. He is going at 100mph while the two Chambers are stuck in the mud of their stodgy rules and antiquated uniparty traditions.

The congress hasn’t passed a budget for how long? Under sotoreo the muzzie bastard it was always stop gap appropriations and temporary fixes which allow the continued pilfering of our wealth . 80% of the rino’s and 99% of the dems (communists) need to be prosecuted for any number of crimes . Trump should continue to harp on the self-serving scumbags of both the senate and house while firing every obama/busch managerial level executive branch off agencies and put people who actually put God and country before themselves.....muzzies need not apply .

Here’s a suggestion for Congress....
The man won the election on pretty clear mandate about what he wanted to accomplish. For the most part, you, the Republican’s in Congress, haven’t done one thing to help him. You have turncoats every time he wants to do something and you push thru a $1+ trillion, POS bill, knowing he didn’t have much of a choice to sign, much to the displeasure of his supporters.
You govern the same way the Dem’s did, when they had control. Last minute, scare tactics to get your way. Or should I say, the Democrats way.
You allow the Dem’s to control the narrative and pace of everything that goes on. You’re so dependent on the Chamber of Commerce and your donors, you could care less about the people. I’d like to say that you may sometimes, forget about us, but that would be too kind. You flat out ignore us.
You can’t control everything that everyone in the party says, but you allow someone like, Flake, who has done absolutely nothing in his career to publicly bash and insult the man, every chance he gets.
You all campaigned on getting rid of obamacare. You did nothing.
You all campaign on lower taxes, lower spending, cutting the deficit. You did nothing. Rand Paul submits the, Penny Plan, in and attempt to balance the budget and decrease spending, and only 21 Fiscal Conservatives vote in favor. The rest align themselves with the Democrats.
You say that you want to secure the border and get a handle on the immigration issue. You do nothing. Instead, you do the opposite. You bend over for the Chamber of Commerce, the Kochs, Big Ag, the ARA, the Home Builders Assoc, and all your other corporate donors.
You all know that Rosenstein and Mueller are on a witch hunt. You do nothing to stop it. It’s obvious to us, that many of you seem to be in favor of it.
You know that Comey, Clapper and Brennan lied during Congressional testimony. You do nothing.
You know that she committed crimes and lied. You do nothing.
Seems to be a common theme. Just saying....
Time to turn up the heat some more, President Trump. What you are doing is working. The evil spirits are screeching in fear and agony!!!!
Then do what you are supposed to do, Congress, and you won’t get called into the principal’s office.
Maybe he should move to hanging one each week (or is that our job)?
