“We lost, so the system is bad.”
Then let us pass all bills in congress 50 votes in the Senate. And amend Constitution with 26 states.
We’re not a democracy, you stupid fake Injun twat.
What do the tribal elders say?
Hey, Lizzie...we are not a democracy, you dim-witted redskin wannabe!
She’s right, it is not a healthy Democracy. Now, someone should inform her that we are Republic limited by a Constitution.
While you’re at it, remind her that she took an oath to uphold it. Maybe she should read it and reconsider her ability to do so.
All those years in college and she doesn’t know we live in a Republic?
O.K. Who’s going to break it to this sitting US senator that we’re a republic not a democracy.
She still hasn’t learned that we live in a representative republic, not a democracy.
Guess she doesn’t like the map showing the counties that went for PDJT? If they were to impose “their” idea, LA, NYC, SanFran and a few other major population centers would always pick the winner and FOC would be left on the hind “t”.
Democracy?
My head is beginning to hurt.
The whole point of the Constitution and the Electoral College is to AVOID a democracy.
CITIZENSHIP Democracy:
A government of the masses. Authority derived through mass meeting or any other form of “direct” expression. Results in mobocracy. Attitude toward property is communistic—negating property rights. Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate, whether is be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. Results in demogogism, license, agitation, discontent, anarchy
FakeAHauntus emits another warped smoke signal
Squaw no realize white man live in Republic not Democracy.
Squaw need to stop speaking on things she know nothing about.
Big Chief Yellow Hair chosen from amoung all tribes. Not just Oneida and Spanish squatters.
And this is what passes off as a law professor making over $400,000 at Harvard.
Our constitution puts limits on any unchecked power, including the arbitrary will of the people. Power at the national level is divided among the three branches, each reflecting a different constituency.
Power is divided yet again between the national government and the states. James Madison noted that these twofold divisions the separation of powers and federalism provided a double security for the rights of the people.
What about the democratic principle of one person, one vote? Isnt that principle essential to our form of government? The Founders handiwork says otherwise.
Neither the Senate, nor the Supreme Court, nor the president is elected on the basis of one person, one vote.
Thats why a state like Montana, with 883,000 residents, gets the same number of Senators as California, with 33 million people.
Consistency would require that if we abolish the Electoral College, we rid ourselves of the Senate as well. Are we ready to do that?
Commies would prefer only New York and California decide elections, that way the Commies stay in power forever
Hey Fauxcahontas, after you delete the millions of illegal aliens that voted in Kalifornia and other states, the other fraudulent Dem votes, and the Broward witch destroying Republican ballots, Trump EASILY out-polled the bitch in legitimate votes.
Thank God the framers of the Electoral College had the foresight to predict the kind of slimy tricks the DNC has pulled in an effort to subvert the Constitution.
US Senator Warren needs to study the Constitution and history of the USA. What does/did her indian ancestors say ?
“Healthy Democracy”?
I didn’t think even she is that stupid and she wants to live in the WH? Sheesh
