RE SoCal...Not sure where YOU are talking bout sounds like a rough neighborhood in a lot of cities. If that is where you had to live, so sorry. However, I have family in nicer areas of LaJolla and San Diego (Heights)...They have lived there for decades..are very conservative...When I have gone to visit, I don’t see “police helicopters that fly over ALL OVER all of that area EVERY weekend with their spotlights on...”(whatever “that area” is) Sorry I just don’t...
If you know CA, then you know San Jose is not SoCal.
One company...No if you actually read the post, I said one company located in another state...never said one company......What field could that possibly be? Well it has to do with computer storage...Ever hear of MU, WDC, NVDA—they are NASDAQ tech leaders? Very specialized...And you are telling me what my son should do because he lives in a blue state?
...If he can make extremely good money (you know be a millennial who can support himself, be debt free, etc), why in the world would he need to expand his skills set or go into law enforcement to move to wherever which pays probably 25% of what he earns with MS in Computer Engr? That wherever being a state that you find acceptable... Oh and son is taking more classes...in his field and hopes to retire before age 40.
Please, stop with the geographic stereotyping...I am sorry you lived in sketchy areas of CA, but there are nice areas, and many nice conservatives who live there too—such as the founder of Free Republic.
I was born in San Francisco and grew up in Long Beach. I’m gone away now but I wish the CA Resistance the best of luck in their battle with the Liberals who infest that state.
