Many conservative in principle, still don’t see the difference between Republicans and Conservatives. They think the GOP is the conservative choice and don’t bother going to the primaries.

The young “Trumpers” Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk supported far and away the more liberal of the three candidates. Longtime democrat who tried to pass himself off as conservative. That Alquist got as many votes as he did tells me a lot of Idaho voters don’t know who they’re voting for. He was also never a Trump supporter and of course was a big supporter of Planned Parenthood only a couple years ago.
