When this sale was announced, I recall hearing lots of "experts" say the franchise would go for something like $2.7 to 3 billion. Looks like those estimates were more than a little off - even following yesterday's sports betting news.

Hate to break this to you but his team just jumped in value by 80-90% yesterday with the ruling that allows states to legalize gambling. Each league is going to get a "taste" or "vig" for each bet placed on sports books.

The TV ratings might not rise but the amount of money made on gambling will more than offset the losses.
