They have an issue with correlation not relating to causation. Historically the party out of power gains in the midterms. But that’s usually because voters are fed up with the POTUS failing to live up to campaign rhetoric. Mr. Trump delivers. On time and under budget.

This is definitely a problem for the Dems because pretty much everyone but Joe Manchin has been seen to bow to the progressive nut baskets. Even if they get their messaging to make sense, how much credibility do they have? It’s just stuff they say to get votes.
