Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney issued a vicious statement condemning Dr. Robert Jeffress, one of the nation’s most prominent evangelical ministers and a spiritual adviser to President Trump.

"Robert Jeffress says 'you can't be saved by being a Jew,' and 'Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell,'" Romney wrote on Twitter. "He's said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem."

Jeffress, who is a regular guest on my nationally-syndicated radio show, was stunned by Romney's ugly remarks.
"Historical Christianity has taught for 2,000 years that salvation is through faith alone in Jesus Christ," Jeffress said. "The fact that I, along with millions of evangelical Christians around the world, espouse that belief is neither bigoted or newsworthy."

I actually watched him preach on Daniel last night. It was the second time I had caught his program.
From what little I saw, I like him very much. He clearly understands the Bible.
If you preach the true Gospel nowadays, you will be controversial.
While in college, I worked at a building materials supplier doing job estimates. We got a request for bid from a Mormon temple project for some stone work. The baptismal pool was something out of ancient Babylon.
That’s rich coming from the guy who was adamantly urging his co-religionists to remain married and have children while a “bishop”, while simultaneously promulgating and funding sodomy and abortions for all others as a governor.

What’s wrong with this lousy pig causing troubled right at the time of the historic embassy opening I really am sickened by his behavior. I believe I’ve seen this pastor on television many times and hes a nice man by the way why would a Christian think that a Jew who does not accept Jesus Christ will be saved? That’s the whole point of being saved by Jesus. I don’t believe that Mormonism Islam or Judaism believe that christians are saved.
Is Romney a religious bigot because he believes that non-Mormons won’t become gods in the same way that’s believes Mormons will?

My father was transferred from Dallas to Salt Lake in 1970 when he worked for the Treasury Department. The Feds were keeping an eye on the Mormon cult (they probably still are).

The good & great citizen Republican voters of Utah need to totally defeat Mitt Romney in the Utah Senate primary. Romney is nothing but, the same low life, traitor and turncoat that John McCain has become. Neither are good representatives for their respected state. Utah voters...defeat Mitt Romney and send him into forever political pasture.
I had a pastor years ago who told an amusing story about 2 Mormon missionaries who struck up a conversation with him. He invited them home and served them dinner. They discussed theology for most of the evening.
Towards the end, one of the Mormons happily told my pastor that, although their faiths differed, in his opinion, by the teaching of Mormonism, my pastor was likely to go to Heaven. My pastor thanked him for this encouraging word.
Then the other Mormon spoke up and asked, “And Sir, do you also feel that we Mormons will be in Heaven as you envision it?”
“Oh, no”, my pastor said. “You’re certainly going to Hell, because you’re not Christians.”
“It’s not the pastor’s fault that Mitt follows a false prophet.”
I believe I’ve read that Romney is an Elder in the Mormon Church. I would like someone to ask him his churches position on Christianity....
One could argue that Romney refused to back Trump because he wasn’t a Mormon and thus backed McMuffin.
