The problem these smaller counties and municipalities in CA have is the big population centers of Los Angeles and San Francisco control the Legislature because they have the Representative Majority as a result of their large Urban populations. It would be nice if they could former a movement to separate themselves and form a new State, but chances of that happening are slim to none.

That WILL happen if those two formerly great metro areas push thru a secession legislation or referendum

NO way could California take it all with them. The other areas would rebel and the rest of the Nation would support its own secession.

And with military force if necessary.

Yet for some reason I just can’t see the pansies in LA and SF going it alone, even as much as they hate the rest of us. Who’s going to want to defend their sorry HIV-infected asses?
