Americans are facing an "epidemic of dishonesty" in Washington that's more dangerous than terrorism or communism.
That's according to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who warned in a commencement speech on Saturday at Texas' Rice University that "an endless barrage of lies" and a trend toward "alternate realities" in national politics pose a dire threat to U.S. democracy.

Yeah, like the alternate reality in which Michelle Obama is a fashion idol, while Melania Trump is a dowdy drab. Or in which Bill Clinton is a champion of women’s rights, instead of a two-bit skirt-chaser. Or in which Hillary Clinton lost the election not because she’s as popular as syphilis, but because people were too stupid to know how great she is.

I think the “epidemic” of the communist left, of which Bloomberg is a part, is the most serious threat facing Americans today. JMO.
