The problem with this theory is that is assumes the intelligence of the intelligence operatives. Actually, it assumes that Deep State could control the placement of Sessions as Attorney General. That seems far fetched. Deep State was unable to determine the outcome of the election. How could they strategize so far into the future and control President Trump’s decision of who to pick as attorney general?

That’s the meat of all the hyperbole in the Michael Cohen scandal right now.
If you take any single person and look hard enough, you WILL find dirt and, even by extension of a business associate, client or otherwise, that which might be activity that could be prosecutable.

It’s worse. The Obama/Clinton/FBI likely planned to destroy Trump even if he lost as a warning for any political outsiders who might contemplate running against the Uniparty in the future.
Yes of course, the real Michael Cohen never went to Prague. Also, the pee party never happened and Carter Page never agreed on Trump’s behalf to drop sanctions in return for a financial payoff.
The dossier was bogus.
That didn’t stop the FBI from using it to open counterintelligence investigations. In fact, I’m sure they never did a real investigation into the dossier because they didn’t want to disprove it; they wanted to use it as a pretext for surveillance on team Trump.
I would guess that the FBI opened counterintelligence investigations on a number of Trump people, who knows how many, but they included: George Papadopoulos; Carter Page; Michael Cohen; Michael Flynn; and Paul Manafort. Maybe even Donald J. Trump himself.

The day Donald Trump passes away and he is laid to rest in his grave, the commie press will still be trying to link him with the Russian (Soviet Union) allies to cheat in the election. They will never quit, ever!!! Hillary has had more contact with the Russians and Bill has spent more time over there running his mouth for money than any other American. I doubt American CIA spies have spent as much time over than Bill has. Our side is up against the entire US press community, half of the American public, and a majority of foreign nations. Few nations are on our side. Mainly, only Israel is on our side, because it is the Christian conservatives that support Israel and they get along with us. Few others are on our side. As old conservatives, such as me, pass on, we will continue to fall further behind in conservative voters. The majority of our kids are being brain washed in public schools so probably 75-80% of them will go lefty because of the brain washing. I am glad that I am old and will not be around to see America go down the drain in about 20-25 years.
The piece missing from the conversation is that all of this spying/surveillance information was being funnelled/leaked (choose your word) directly/indirectly to the Clinton campaign. It would not surprise me that these messages were on the DNC server. (Being held as insurance??)
You would be a fool to believe that all this intel on the Trump campaign ended up gathering dust in the FBI/CIA/NSA.

Uh, you need to actually either:1. Keep track of the CTH predictions ( like the Big Ugly going to happen next week— a prediction made months ago and nothing, OR 2. Listen to all the other FR readers who have piped in on CTH inaccuracy. CTH has been pretty thoroughly discounted as a source worth taking too seriously. Bradman has some ability to connect dots and organize information, but where he goes off the rails is interpretation, analysis and prediction. Moreover, since bradman makes money with every click onto his site he really has no incentive to be correct. You might also consider seeing how critics have described bradman.
For further example he stated as fact that there are grand jurys lookin at the clinton obama scandals involving FISA and other issues. He came to that conclusion based on a one sentence response to a congress member from DOJ. Even Sessions statements do not make the same claim.
Bottom line, critical thinking, it works.

If I was to wager a guess, the obama admin, plus a few of his predecessors had "insurance policies" all over the place.
There were endless turds in the punchbowl, probably going back to Truman.
Certainly Eisenhower.
And we all know about JFK.
Nixon, probably the smartest guy to ever become POTUS was no match for these people.
If you listen to his tapes, why on earth would he be fearful of "Opening up the whole Bay of Pigs thing"?
And why would Nixon "protect" LBJ and previous POTUS' in the Pentagon Papers?
Tom Hanks made Nixon some kind of demon in "The Post", but Nixon had some reason to want them quashed.
I have no idea why he would have some "loyalty" to LBJ and JFK.
