My mom always told me, “When you walk into a room, walk in like you own the joint.” She did just that and I saw it on numerous occasions. She’d walk through the door and heads stared turning asking, “Who’s that?” She had a natural magnetism... and a bad drinking problem which eventually killed her... which brings me to the second thing shoe taught me: Alcohol is evil. If you give it a foothold it will kill you eventually. I’m not saying I don’t drink because I do, but I have set some pretty strict limits on how much a drink when I decide to.
Given the misspellings in my post, I would like to state for the record, that I am NOT drinking right now. Just thought I’d clear that up before folks started talking.
