Without her he would have gotten 25-30% of the vote > IMO. Instead the ticket got 45.7%. Amazing!

McCain was a douche bag and everyone knew it. He stated that nobody had anything to fear from a man who invited terrorists into the White House to consult with him, and appointed others to certain positions.

Yeah McCain, Sarah was the only redeeming aspect of that ticket. If you had won, she would have gotten the Lyndon Johnson treatment, ala John F. Kennedy too.

The only reason McCain's numbers came up was because of Palin. When he decided to save the Nation and left the campaign for 3 weeks, his number went down and never came back up.

Also, when his advisers saw that Palin's numbers were better than his they kept her on a short leash.

His campaign was doomed to failure from the beginning.
