It’s worse than that (Extra CO2 to get there for this stunt, CO2 to carve it, etc.). Carving anything INTO the solid glacier means you’re carving ice OFF of the glacier, making smaller pieces that will melt FASTER!

"Climate change" is already being dragged in to every news story about virtually every issue. These a$$holes try to link every single problem in every country on earth to "climate change" - and they never shut up about it. How could they possibly talk any more about "climate change" than they already do?
If "people" actually do somehow find a way to"talk more about climate change" then "climate change" will be the only thing people ever talk about.

Glaciers will break off and the chunks will melt. New glaciers form to replace them. It is the natural order of things.

Glaciers have been melting since the last ICE AGE, 12-14000 years ago. They will continue until the cycle reverses itself and we really do enter a new Ice Age. Don’t hold your breath for it.
This falacy is nothing more than three guys from Finland, Nicolas Pietro the spokesperson, and two guys he identifies as Jarno and Aleksi, that invented a company called Melting Ice, and are using CNN reporter Cyril Varnier who has interviewed Pietro, to raise $500K to build this statue carved into a glacier in the Arctic that shows signs of melting due to global warming. Prove that one, professor. The glaciers in the Arctic have been moving away from the actual circle and melting for a few million years. I hope they hold their breath.
If they can find a glacier that is melting in the Artic, then after they spend all this money and time and wasted space on CNN, then they can explain why the ice is melting in the Artic and it is increasing in the Antarctic. Location, location, location.........
