The thing is, it wasn’t an Iranian attack. It was the Syrian Army. They have claimed responsibility, and put out their version of events - which is that they were acting in self defense. It is up to us to decide whether or not to believe them. But the media is running with this “Iranian attack” story, and ignoring the Syrians in their own country. I suppose it makes for a better headline.
