I agree. I suspect that some people think they’re “saving” the country by covering up the RAT corruption, but in fact they’re destroying it because the information is leaking out anyway and destroying people’s faith in our institutions.

Henceforth they are useless as a law enforcement agency. No one in their right mind would ever talk to them again, out of fear of being set-up for a process crime.
