Trump push for conservative judges intensifies, to Democrats' dismay

As President Donald Trump pursues his goal of making the federal judiciary more conservative, his fellow Republicans who control the Senate are poised to confirm another batch of his picks for influential U.S. appeals courts to the dismay of some Democrats.

The Senate this week is set to take up six of Trump’s nominees to the regional appeals courts, including four from states that have at least one Democratic senator.

A long-standing Senate tradition that gave senators clout over judicial nominees from their home states has been fraying for years, meaning Democrats have less of a chance of blocking appointees they oppose, as they did with some success during Republican former President George W. Bush’s administration.

I jumped on the Trump Train in the primaries when I became convinced that he would appoint conservative judges and I will fight for him through 2020 and beyond as long as he keeps doing so.

Judges are critical.

Had Obama had any vision he too could have had a legacy that someone couldn’t just replace at their convenience!

Any judge who has ever written or ruled a nonsensical, twisted, and tortured opinion to justify something outside of the Constitution should be removed from their position, disbarred, and prohibited from ever being a judge over so much as traffic court.

The country would already be FINISHED if Hillary had won, simply due to the judges (including the Supreme Court) rubber stamping everything she did, without bother to consider Congress.

The best hope for our side would have been separation from DC without civil war. The second best hope would have been separation from DC WITH civil war.

Thank about that, you NEVER TRUMPER assholes.

President Trump has done an excellent job exposing enough judges to get that ball rolling.

...MEANING Obama probably did it as well without the butthurt tears and faggotry from Al-Reuters. Boo hoo, you’re team lost. Get over it.

Obama said “winning is the best revenge”.

Obama appointed the largest percent of judges in modern times. Obama had plenty of vision and knew what he was doing.

Well. The last batch of judges, McConnell threatened to keep the Senate in session nonstop until they were approved. The dems quickly caved and let the Senate vote. Know before you criticize.

In some respects President Trump entered office as a trusting "moderate", showing some flexibility and willingness to comprimise with the likes of Condoleezza Rice and Juan McCain.

Now that President Trump has seen where all that got him, he is going to double down on conservative appointments. He has seen the way liberals mistreat people, and you can bet that all his judicial picks are going to be more conservative than ever.

They are very critical.

Man, the folks that sat on their hands when Trump was nearing the finish line in 2016, they sure must be proud now.

Anything that will make the insane RATs become totally unhinged is great.
However, once they start shooting at us, we need to take em ALL out....once and for all.

“The country would already be FINISHED if Hillary had won,”

I could not agree more. That would have been the final nail in the coffin of the USA.

That's good for last week.

This week there are 6 judges scheduled....if the 30-hour rule is enforced that is 180 hours.....

Even if the Senate worked for 40 hours (.../sarcasm here)....it would take 4 and a half weeks.
