Point72 Creates Scholarship for Minority Interns at Its Academy

Point72 is a hedge fund that is giving black and Hispanic summer interns $20,000 college scholarships in addition to the pay all interns get. This is blatant racial discrimination -- an employer is paying some workers much more than others, based on race. Will someone at the Justice Department do something about it?

I think this already illegal, but just to make sure, the Republicans should pass a law stating that employers may not give educational benefits to some employees and not others on the basis of race or sex.
