Mueller is arrogant to think he would never be called out in this process. I suspect there is a lot of tension going on with his team this weekend.

Sadly, that’s about it. And thanks for posting that photo of my Congressman in there. Gak! I’m trying to forget who my congressman is.

Yep. Such a shock that lawyers who are making $1,400 an hour on the taxpayers dime are not ready for prime time.

If I was the judge I would tell them to furnish the documents or be held in contempt of court. I’m sure there are judges out there who have a certain reverence for the justice system and resent the dirty tricks being played.

First there was Weekend at Bernie’s. Now we have Weekend at Mueller’s. Lost two court rulings to Manfort and Russian company defense teams. Bernie showed more life and excitement than the Mueller dead fishes

That would include, and be part of, the reason it dies soon.

Then on to prosecuting and punishing the culprits.

Thanks.

Now we need some photos of the culprits’ trials. They cannot be allowed to get away with this coup attempt. And they won’t.

You said it. Make that 18 overpaid lawyers and who-knows-how-many support staff are not ready in a timely manner. Pass the popcorn.

Of course not. We may end up in a bizarre scenario where the prosecution files a motion in the case to drop the charges and the defendant actually opposes the motion.
*****************
Not bizarre at all ,, I had a slip and fall bastard sue me ... I kept it alive for 4+ years while he fought to hide every scrap I demanded from him ... There isn’t a judge in my city that has any respect for him now.

He’s now left with the uncomfortable choice of dismissing the charges or showing his cards. His very weak cards.

The defense has to agree with the dismissal... I wouldn’t... LET HIM TWIST IN THE WIND.

Don’t they train attorneys in school not to expose themselves to a discovery scenario that could boomerang?

Along with the bunglers who lost their shorts in the Bundy trials, it’s sure looking like Fed lawyers get their degrees out of Cracker Jack boxes. Either that or they’re blinded by the hubris of unlimited power.

I had a wealthy Christian mentor who, when he asked his pastor a Bible question would preface it by saying, “Pastor, just give it to me straight. I don’t want a beat-around-the bush ‘preacher answer’.”

I have a lawyer in the family who worked with & against Mueller in Boston. Said he was lazy, disjointed & not too intelligent. I think we can see just how careless he is with the situation he has put his team in this week. He’s a classic Ivy League legacy like Bush 43.

Let’s see.

1. Mueller, a Prosecutor, is in place to “Investigate and prosecute” a Crime.

A: Is collusion a crime? If so, please point to the Federal statute that applies.

B: Exactly what Crime has been committed?

The DNC’s emails were hacked and released on Wikipedia?

Mr. Mueller, Can you tell us who hacked the server and leaked those emails? Has your team gained access to that DNC server?

Mr. Mueller, Have you interviewed Julian Assange, who has stated on multiple occasions that “It wasn’t the Russians”?

Mr. Mueller, aside from the leaked emails, can you explain to U.S. exactly how the “Russians” influenced our elections?

2. Mr. Mueller, Is your purpose to “Find/create” a crime? or is it to Prosecute a Crime?

a; Mr. Mueller, Do you know that there is a long standing DOJ position that YOU CANNOT INDICT a sitting President?

b; Mr. Mueller, Do you recognize that your “obstruction” case centers around YOUR BOSS? and HIS recommendation to fire Comey.

Mr. Mueller, we understand that you are a singular minded ideologically driven cake eating government bureaucrat hiding and surrounded by like minded deep state power hungry narcissistic tools hell bent on overthrowing the election of Donald Trump.

We get that.

Do you?

"From what I've read, the list of items the defense demanded in its discovery request to Mueller was all information about U.S. government efforts to interfere with foreign elections since 1945."

The Russians already have Hillary's State Department emails! There is an old legal axiom that you don't ask a question unless you already know the answer.
