Actually we won't know the location and time until they are officially announced. There is a fair amount of misdirection when it comes to Trump, and it could be by design.

Very interesting those that were possibilities.....Where ever it is our military has to be plentiful and the area well secured. I suspect Kim isn’t exactly comfortable traveling anywhere, not to mention is his train reliable enough to get him there and back....
Why can’t he fly?

DJT will be in extreme harms way wherever it is held. The left arent going to want him to broker a peace deal.

The Left vs. the Singapore police would be an embarrassing defeat for World Socialism...so no worries. :)

The only place in that part of the world that would really surprise me would be Taiwan. China would be furious and seeing red!
To: lee martell
Actually I thought of it as well. Taipei. While its chances of being the summit location are remote, it is the closest from N. Korea compared with any locations mentioned so far. China will flip indeed.

I would rather want to yank Kim from his comfort zone, if I were Trump. When Kim cannot control his surroundings in an unfamiliar setting, advantage goes to Trump.

He should bring the entire carrier battle group with him, along with warplanes. There should be another set of them near Korean Peninsula, too.

Is it really possible that Nork can not come up with a single reliable plane for Dear Leader?

Mongolia would be a unique location. Donald could visit a yurt and hold a goat. Has any US President ever visited Mongolia before?

That’s a possibility. Used to be a closed city in the Soviet time, its now open to foreigners.
Its close enough to Pyongyang for Kim Jong Un to travel there for a summit.

It's 2500 air miles from Pyongyang to Singapore.
Air Koryo is the state airline, and has a one star safety rating. They have a couple of aging TU-204s, the Russian equivalent of a Boeing 757.
Perhaps Kim should get a charter...

Kim Jong-un once featured his own airplane, Ilyushin Il-62M.

It will be a long train trip from North Korea at 20-25 mph.
To: TigerLikesRooster
I think Trump should meet him in Mongolia, actually.
