Instead, the administration announced Hondurans would be given a six-month extension of the Jan. 5, 2018, expiration date as it decides the fate of the program.
Notice the slant of the article in not explaining TPS. Using “protected status”.
Yes I took note of that....another extension after decades of them already. The idea is time to pack up and return home to your country.
But you know they will claim they have no home there anymore....where will they go and on and on. We’ve heard it all a gazillion times.
Perhaps had these people remained in their country and cleaned up the mess themselves they would have found things better than they expected.....but they never seem to think about “improving’ their own surroundings in their own country!
Let me just say I moved into a rather downtrodened neighborhood one time.....I painted the outside concrete stirs and landing, put down a carpet runner, sat out some new white plastic porch chairs and lined the stairs with red potted geraniums. ............it was but two weeks and the neighbors across the street went into gear likewise who said I had given them the incentive.....then other neighbors did likewise.
I think you get my drift........you can do a whole lot with very little costs. I just added to it every paycheck..
BTW the landlord was so impressed with how it all looked he hired men to paint the entire building!
