Clinton had millions of fraudulent votes and George knows this.
Trump skillfully calculated the particular states, that were right leaning, and able to return enough electoral votes to get him elected. He didn’t spend a lot of time campaigning in “blue states”, or states that are dyed-in-the-wool democrat states.
I think he played it very smart, and did a great campaign.
And, dems like it or not, Trump won.
The Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario uses an electoral college (informally called “points” by the media) to choose it’s leader. I think this is the same system used by the Federal Conservative Party.
Doug Ford was elected on the final ballot (they use a preferential ballots to eliminate under there is a majority winner) despite the fact his opponent won both the popular vote and the majority of ridings (parliamentary districts).
Each riding where at least 100 people voted (which was all but 3 sparsely populated heavily non-conservative ridings, in those the number of votes you get = your number of points) gets 100 votes, awarded by percentage, eg you get 56 points for 56%.
Ford won cause of his high popularity in his home base, were he pulled down high percentages in area ridings.
