Entertainer Roseanne Barr went on a Twitter tear this week, urging the elderly (old ppl) to exercise their right to vote and calling on other able-bodied Americans to help them do so.
In a series of posts, Roseanne tweeted:
Help Register old ppl to vote! Some of them have never voted!
lets help old ppl register and get to the polls! Lets help them vote! #Volunteer
Get your churches and synagogues/temples to volunteer to help get old ppl registered to vote and take them to the polls
Old ppl!!! Register and vote! May 8th is critical
On May 8th, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, and North Carolina will all hold primaries, Roseanne reminded senior voters.
Roseanne also retweeted a reply to her calling for disabled people in group homes, and felons whove had their rights restored, to vote.
If she even got 1 or 2% of the over 50 crowd to register that could make a huge difference in some areas.
But...a couple weeks ago, I joined the NRA for the first time.
She’s the one who is pro-Trump, before someone gets confused.
“Roseanne Urges Old People!!! to Register and Vote!”
to late. i’m already registered and vote ... have been and have done so since 48 years ago ...
The wisdom of Roseanne is showing through. She is spot on that those of us who vote and are able should be helping those for whom it is more of a struggle to register and then vote. of course the leftists in media and Hollyweird will trash her for displaying such deep wisdom and patriotism. The enemy is like that donchaknow ...
Volunteers should canvass the nursing homes, etc...the democrats use dead people to vote, we should be able to slide a few dementia patients in ours.
WELCOME aboard! (NRA).

Uh, I don’t think she was addressing you and the rest of us who have been registered for many years.
The boys predicted I would be a surgeon.
That never happened.
Lotta bleeding-heart elderly.
To go on would be futile, for the cultish, oppressive and totalitarian Progressive ideology insidiously became dominant in every aspect of their lives and dulled their senses, for a time, to the enormous loss of freedom, opportunity and "pursuit of happiness" which that grievous ideology had imposed upon them.
Suddenly, in their older years, a reactionary named Trump began to rattle the cage of the Progressive overlords, and that strongest of all generations, the one which even a real Progressive had tagged, "the greatest generation," began to awaken, as did their children and grandchildren.
As those generations awoke, prayed and heeded the cautions and warnings of America's Founders and early Justices and Presidents, something began to happen which may, perhaps, lead to a rediscovery of the ideas of liberty and individual freedom from an ideology that binds the minds of both youth and age.
Credit that, not to a great philosopher or well-known historian of American history, but to a disrupter of the status quo, a reactionary who understands, as did James Madison (known as the "Father" of the Constitution) and the Framers of our Constitution that power lodged in the hands of imperfect persons in government is dangerous to liberty.
The problem is lots of them remember Elvis and how nice it was when the government started giving them food stamps.
