The FBI Is in Crisis. It's Worse Than You Think
Time ^ | 05/03/2018 | Eric Lichtblau

In normal times, the televisions are humming at the FBI’s 56 field offices nationwide, piping in the latest news as agents work their investigations. But these days, some agents say, the TVs are often off to avoid the crush of bad stories about the FBI itself. The bureau, which is used to making headlines for nabbing crooks, has been grabbing the spotlight for unwanted reasons: fired leaders, texts between lovers and, most of all, attacks by President Trump. “I don’t care what channel it’s on,” says Tom O’Connor, a veteran investigator in Washington who leads the FBI Agents Association. “All you hear is negative stuff about the FBI … It gets depressing.”

Many view Trump’s attacks as self-serving: he has called the renowned agency an “embarrassment to our country” and its investigations of his business and political dealings a “witch hunt.” But as much as the bureau’s roughly 14,000 special agents might like to tune out the news, internal and external reports have found lapses throughout the agency, and longtime observers, looking past the partisan haze, see a troubling picture: something really is wrong at the FBI.

Etc...

“most of all, attacks by President Trump.”

Lol. President Trump says mean things about us! That’s the worst thing.

A good definition of “null set” is the answer to the question: “Which government agencies are worth your respect?”

At the top of this list of the Federal Bunch of Idiots.

Oh boo hoo, How about putting the TVs back on and seeing all of the criminals the FBI missed who went on to commit horrible crimes. That should be their real shame!

Just wait until 300 million Americans refuse to talk to them because none of us want to say we saw a blue car and then be prosecuted for a process crime because it was turquoise.

Does this Time article specifically enumerate the fired and reassigned agents?

Freedom, individual liberty and the rule of law, as envisioned and protected by the Constitution of the United States of America cannot thrive when the agents of government act outside the limitations of that supreme law of the land which limits their actions, the Constitution.

When Progressives, such as the previous administration, tout "the rule of law," their interpretation of the term (their semantics, if you will) give the term a different meaning than did the Framers of the 1787 Constitution for a "We, the People's" limited government structure.

most of all, attacks by President Trump.

They have it backwards. The FBI(Federal Bureau of Insurgents) and other agencies attempted Coup D'etat against Trump and lost. They should all be shot. that would cure their depression.

So the FBI generally has TV news on while they work? And more than likely it’s been tuned to CNN for years.
No wonder the FBI was biased against TRUMP and assumed Hillary would be their next boss!
Poor brainwashed fools.
I hope they’re tuned to Fox news or OAN now.

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. Trumps so-called "attacks" are simply small pieces of truth telling.

After Rudy’s debacle on Hannity last night he should resign this morning. He is an old puffed up egoist. Time to put him out to pasture before he hurts Trump any more than last night

Excellent article with the exception of the gratuitous trashing of DJT. It hasn’t dawned on the author that these are only partial revelations, that were it not for DJT this would still be going on, or the fact that this was entirely brought on by themselves and the Democrats.

The so-called “attacks” by President Trump are due to the FBI’s biggest problem - institutional arrogance and high-level political meddling.
