The first police officer to breach the Las Vegas gunmans Mandalay Bay suite Oct. 1 did not activate his body camera, the Las Vegas Review-Journal learned Tuesday.
Metropolitan Police Department lawyers confirmed the detail a few hours after Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo announced that body camera footage from the breach would be released sometime Wednesday.
It is unclear why the officer, Levi Hancock, did not activate his camera. The footage expected Wednesday will come from two other officers who helped clear the gunmans rooms.

Of course not.
Or that’s what they tell us.
Anybody believing that?
How awfully convenient.
McCabe
Why does the officer have the discretion to turn it on or off, it should be on at all times.
Excuse me, I have to turn off my body cam, gonna shoot somebody.
sounds believabull.
Exactly!
Gun sale gone bad.
Maybe because the officer might have to use the restroom on occasion during a.12 hour shift
Riiiight, talk about TOTAL BULL.
Even in the bathroom?
This is a cover up. I am fully convinced that Pollock was a supplier for operation fast and furious with the Phoenix gun dealer who has DOJ credentials. When Trump took office he was fired. He had unsold inventory and used it . This is a pathetic cover up by our government and I dont know why Trump won’t end it.
Well, I would think in a tense/extremely stressful situation like that he probably wasn’t thinking of his camera?
I’m not sure what to think about this shooting. This story was intentionally buried than anything I’ve ever seen.
One thing I do know for absolute certain though, listen to the audio of the attack. There is no way on God’s Green Earth that any “bump stock” made by humans has ever kept splits that even. Impossible!
Truth and facts are becoming obsolete. The media, government and corporations are holders of information and people are left to the discretion of the elite to inform. I always looked forward to when the JFK files would be released when I was a KID! (I was born in 1969). They were just determined to stay sealed forever it seams due to “national security” (the most abused term in government”). The monumental events from the Clinton era up through today will never be privy to the public as the noose around the 1st Amendment and the freedom of information becomes more Orwellian.
Weird...
